Tapes and typed transcript of an interview conducted by Albert Winkler on 2 Sept. 1999 for the Special Collections at Brigham Young University. Lewis talks about his experiences as a military policeman with the 5th Marine Division on Iwo Jima during the battle in 1945. He also tells about serving with the United States occupation forces in Japan following the war.
